Because we treat our media reps with respect, they are willing and excited to help us come up with the very best plan for our clients. It’s extremely beneficial having great relationships with all facets of the media and to have them as part of our extended network.
Additionally, with our model we are compensated by the media outlets, so our costs are never a line item billed to our clients. Furthermore, we are able to negotiate the best deals through our media reps which almost always allows us to save clients money while getting them even more placement compared to what they were currently buying. Again, it all comes back to relationships!
How our differences allow us to better serve our clients
Because we include our media reps and make them feel like they’re a part of the process of developing a great media plan, they in return feel valued and work that much harder to deliver the best possible results at the best possible price. Instead of viewing us as their client, the media reps really get to know our clients so they are just as connected to them as we are. It makes a huge difference! A lot of traditional ad agencies will keep the media away from clients meetings or email communication, sometimes resulting in the media feeling disconnected and undervalued.
A focus on trust and accountability
As we mentioned before, the most critical component that keeps our unique model working as well as it does it trust between us and our media reps. In other situations, where media reps do not feel valued by the media buying agency, they may be tempted to cut out the agency and work directly with the client. We are fortunate that this has never been the case, and again it comes back to the quality of relationships we cultivate.
Additionally, we take great care to build this same level of trust and accountability with our clients by frequently reviewing campaign results with and always keeping them in the loop of what’s being placed, where and when. We remain transparent throughout the entire process to build trust with our clients that they are in good hands – and that we are diligently monitoring their campaigns and constantly tweaking them to be the most effective they can be.
